Director, Diversity & Inclusion

Reporting to the Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer and theCEO or designated hospital leader, the Director will support theexpansion and integration of the Corporate Office of Diversity and Inclusion's plan including clinical, operational, educational and research methodologies for their organization and across the RWJBarnabas Health System including: 11 acute hospitals, 3 children's hospitals and the behavioral health hospital. The Corporate Office of Diversity & Inclusion (CODI) supports thesystem's commitment to treat everyone with respect and dignity while appreciating and embracing the differences as well as thesimilarities that exist among us, so that RWJBH continues toprovide high quality, equitable, culturally-competent, patient-centered care to its diverse patients and communities. The Director will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing management of targeted Diversity and Inclusion initiatives under the guidance of the Chief Diversity Officer and their hospital's leadership team. The primary focus of the role will include hospital site project development for patient experience, population health, local supplier inclusion, operational alignment and excellence; with the goal of health equity within thepopulations we serve as well as the healthcare System's workforce. S/he will think strategically, synthesize business data, and develop innovative and holistic solutions that are forward-thinking and growth-oriented, including a commitment to change management across all areas and initiatives. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of Diversity & Inclusion experience. Masters' preferred Management experience including team building, plan development, and project execution in healthcare setting preferred. Requires 100% on-site accessibility, including system-wide travel as scheduled and in accordance with business needs. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
