This position performs the examination of and test performance in the Core Laboratory on human specimens for purposes of obtaining information for the diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patients.
This position performs moderate to high complexity testing utilizing manual methods, semi-automated and automated clinical analyzers in the areas of Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Stat lab and basic Microbiology. The testing personnel utilizes the Laboratory Information System.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate in clinical laboratory science, chemical, physical or biological Sciences or meets NJ Sanitary Code Chapter 44, Chapter IV, 8:44-2.6 Technologist qualifications. ASCP or eligibility preferred.
Meets minimum CLIA and NJ standards.
6 months hospital experience preferred. Successful passing of screening exam and demonstrated written and practical competencies in Core Laboratory.
Ability to work variable shifts as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
