The Transitional Care Unit (TCU) at Clara Maass Medical Center offers a special caring environment for patients who no longer require all the resources of an acute care hospital, but who are still too sick to be cared for at home. The TCU is a 20-bed unit which provides a sub-acute level of care within the acute care hospital, an option in the continuum of care. Typically patients are admitted to the TCU for the following types of care: cardiac recovery, post surgical recovery, oncology and pain management, pulmonary management, skin and wound care, and complex medical management.
Organize and administers individualized age specific professional care to patients within the Transitional Care Unit in support of medical care. Provides nursing care as directed by medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Act. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Quality Improvement evaluation activities.
Graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred.
Current New Jersey RN licensure required
Current one year RN experience in Transitional Care Unit or LTC / Sub-Acute setting required.
BLS certification required
IV certification preferred
Previous experience with EKG's, wound vacs preferred.
Current experience with EMR highly preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
